Single Tooth
An implant can be used to replace one tooth at a time, helping restore the appearance of the smile and preserve the bone structure at the same time. The implant acts as the missing tooth root, which is bonded by the jawbone to improve the strength of the restoration. Patients with dental implants maintain natural function when it comes to biting, chewing, and talking. The success rate of this treatment is over 95%, giving patients confidence in the possibilities that are available from this dental surgery
Multiple Teeth
The placement of a post as a prosthetic root is vital to preserve the bone structure, which is why substitute roots are used with implants. When multiple teeth are missing then multiple implants can be placed, with one implant for each tooth. This treatment allows the existing teeth to be left alone, without the need to attach a partial denture or bridge.
Implant-Supported Denture
One common complaint about standard dentures is that the prosthetics don’t always remain secure in the mouth. If you want optimal function and appearance, then an implant-supported denture is a solution to consider. This implant-supported denture is designed to be held in place by dental attachments in the mouth. The root post is created as an implant, then a denture cap can be connected to the post to hold the denture in the right position.
All-on-Four
When a patient needs a full upper and lower dental restoration, then All-on-Four implants are often considered. A full set of non-removable teeth are placed in one appointment, giving you a proven, cost-effective solution to restoring the appearance and function of your smile. The treatment is often called “Teeth in a Day” because of the fast results that are available.
Zygoma Implants
Zygoma implants differ from other dental implants in that they anchor to the zygomatic (cheek) bone as opposed to the maxilla (jaw) bone. These may be recommended for patients with insufficient bone in the upper jaw due to aging, trauma, or atrophy. Zygoma implants may also allow the patient to avoid bone grafting and/or sinus lift procedures to increase bone density for conventional implants.
